Terms of Service
1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service (hereinafter: the "Terms") govern the contractual relationship between the service provider identified in Section 2 (hereinafter: the "Service Provider") and the natural or legal persons using its services (hereinafter: the "Client").
The Service Provider offers two types of services, which are subject to partially different rules:
- Agency services based on an individual engagement (ad management, creative production, consulting). These are governed by the provisions of Sections 3 through 13.
- The adverr Campaign Detective online subscription, which the Client orders on the website on a self-service basis. This is governed by Section 14. If Section 14 differs from any other section of these Terms, the provision of Section 14 applies to Campaign Detective.
Section 15 applies only to a Client who qualifies as a consumer. Under the Civil Code, a consumer is a natural person acting outside the scope of their profession, independent occupation or business activity.
For matters not regulated in these Terms, the provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (the "Civil Code"), Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services, Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, and other applicable Hungarian legislation shall apply.

a) Ad management
Planning, setting up, continuously optimizing and analyzing the performance of paid online advertising campaigns on the following platforms: Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max campaigns), Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram ads), TikTok Ads. The service includes managing advertising accounts, developing targeting strategies, running A/B tests, and preparing regular performance reports.

d) adverr Campaign Detective
An online, subscription-based analysis service that produces an automated analysis and recommendations from the data in the Client's own Google Ads and Meta Ads advertising accounts. Its detailed terms are set out in Section 14.
For the services under points a) and c), the specific scope and extent of the tasks undertaken is set out, in every case, in the individual engagement agreement or the approved quote.
4. Quotes and Contract Formation for Individual Engagements
This section applies to the services under Section 3, points a), b) and c). Ordering Campaign Detective is governed by Section 14.2.
The process of concluding a contract consists of the following steps:
- Requesting a quote: The Client requests a quote for the desired service through the website, by email, or by phone.
- Needs assessment: The Service Provider provides the needs-assessment consultation free of charge, in person, by online video call, or in writing.
- Submitting a quote: The Service Provider prepares a detailed, itemized written quote, which includes the tasks undertaken, the pricing, and the other terms. The quote is valid for 14 days.
- Concluding the contract: The legal relationship is formed when the Client accepts the quote in writing (by email or by a signed engagement agreement). The Service Provider begins work only after the first fee has been received, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
The Service Provider is entitled to withdraw the quote without giving a reason, for as long as it has not been accepted by the Client.
5. Fees and Payment Terms for Individual Engagements
This section applies to the services under Section 3, points a), b) and c). The fee and payment arrangements for Campaign Detective are governed by Section 14.3.
The consideration for the Service Provider's services is set out in the individual engagement agreement or the accepted quote, on a Hungarian forint (HUF) basis. The Service Provider is exempt from value added tax under the small business exemption, so no VAT is charged on the fees.
Monthly subscription model: Recurring ad management and creative production services are available under a monthly fee arrangement. The monthly fee covers the entire scope of tasks undertaken for the given month, including managing and optimizing campaigns, and reporting.
Payment terms:
- The monthly subscription fee is due in advance, by the 1st day of each month.
- The Client must settle the invoice within 8 calendar days of receiving it.
- In the event of late payment, the Service Provider is entitled to charge default interest in accordance with the Civil Code.
- The advertising budget payable to the advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) is, in every case, the Client's direct obligation; the Service Provider does not handle this amount, unless the parties agree otherwise.
- The fee for one-off projects (for example, a campaign strategy or a one-off creative package) is invoiced according to the schedule set out in the quote.
The Service Provider is entitled to review its prices once a year; it will notify the Client of any price increase in writing at least 30 days in advance.
6. Obligations of the Parties
Obligations of the Service Provider:
- It performs the tasks it has undertaken competently, in accordance with industry best practices.
- It prepares a regular (at least monthly) written report on campaign performance.
- It informs the Client in advance of every material change and decision point.
- It safeguards the Client's confidential data and business information.
- It responds to the Client's questions and inquiries within 2 business days.
Obligations of the Client:
- It provides, by the deadline, the access needed to provide the service (advertising accounts, analytics platforms, brand materials).
- It responds to the Service Provider's inquiries and approval requests within 3 business days.
- It pays the fee by the agreed deadline.
- It requests the Service Provider's assistance only for advertising content, products and services that comply with applicable law and with the advertising platforms' terms of use.
7. Intellectual Property
The copyright in the advertising creatives, copy, strategic documents and other works produced by the Service Provider belongs to the Service Provider until the fee has been paid in full. Upon full payment of the fee, the Client acquires an unlimited, exclusive right of use, without limitation in time or territory, to the materials created for it, solely for the purposes of use set out in the individual contract.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the materials it provides to the Service Provider (logos, photos, text) do not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties. The Client shall fully indemnify the Service Provider against any claims arising from this.
The Client may use the analysis report prepared under the Campaign Detective service without restriction for its own business purposes. The service's interface, source code, analytical methodology and appearance are the intellectual property of the Service Provider, which the Client may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell to a third party.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider strives to maximize the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns to the best of its industry knowledge, but does not accept liability for, and does not guarantee, specific advertising performance metrics (for example, a defined number of clicks, conversions, or revenue), since these are influenced by numerous factors outside the Service Provider's control, including algorithmic changes made by the advertising platforms, market competition, and the condition of the Client's website.
The Service Provider's liability is, in every case, limited to the amount of the net fee for the specific engagement. In the case of Campaign Detective, the upper limit of liability is the amount of the subscription fee actually paid by the Client in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service Provider is not liable for the Client's indirect or consequential damages, or damages arising from loss of profit.
The limitations under this section do not affect liability for breach of contract caused intentionally, or for breach of contract that harms human life, physical integrity or health, and do not restrict the rights to which a consumer is entitled under law.
The Service Provider does not accept liability for account suspension or restriction decisions made by the advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), where these result from the Client's content, product categories, or the Client's breach of the platforms' policies.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties undertake not to disclose to third parties the trade secrets and confidential business information obtained from the other party, including client data, strategies, prices and business plans, for the duration of the contract and for 3 years after its termination, and to use such information solely for the purpose of performing the contract.
The confidentiality obligation does not apply to publicly available information, or to data that must be disclosed under applicable law or by order of an authority.
10. Termination for Individual Engagements
This section applies to the services under Section 3, points a), b) and c). Cancelling Campaign Detective is governed by Section 14.6.
Ordinary termination: Either party may terminate the monthly subscription contract in writing (by email), with 30 days' notice. During the notice period, the Service Provider is obliged to carry out the tasks, and the Client is obliged to pay the fee.
Extraordinary termination: Either party may terminate the contract with immediate effect if the other party seriously breaches the provisions of these Terms or the individual contract, and fails to remedy the breach within 8 days of a written notice to that effect. A serious breach of contract includes, in particular, a delay in the payment obligation exceeding 15 days, or a breach of the confidentiality obligation.
Termination does not affect the enforceability of fee claims that arose up to the date of termination.
11. Disputes, Applicable Law
These Terms, and the contracts concluded on their basis, are governed by Hungarian law. The parties undertake to first attempt to settle any dispute between them through good-faith negotiation. If this does not lead to a result within 30 days, the parties may turn to the court having jurisdiction and competence under the applicable procedural rules. The Service Provider does not stipulate exclusive jurisdiction against a consumer; the rights available to a consumer are set out in Section 15.
12. Amendments
The Service Provider reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms. It will notify Clients of amendments by email at least 15 days before they take effect. If the Client does not object to the amendment in writing before it takes effect, the amendment shall be deemed accepted. If the Client does not accept the amendment, it may terminate the contract before the amendment takes effect; in the case of a Campaign Detective subscription, cancellation takes place in accordance with Section 14.6, and the Client incurs no additional cost as a result. The amendment does not affect the terms of individual contracts already concluded and being performed, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise therein.
13. Effective Date
These Terms enter into effect on September 27, 2026 and remain valid until withdrawn or amended. Earlier versions cease to be effective as of this date.
14. adverr Campaign Detective Online Subscription
14.1 Content of the Service
Campaign Detective is an online, subscription-based analysis service. The Client connects its own Google Ads and Meta Ads advertising accounts to the service, and the service produces an automated analysis report from the campaign data available there. The report contains the measured data, the findings drawn from it, and specific recommendations.
The service only reads the advertising accounts. The Service Provider does not make any changes to the Client's campaigns as part of Campaign Detective.
The analysis is prepared in part by artificial intelligence. The Service Provider provides the access required for this; the Client does not need to have its own AI subscription or key. Text produced by artificial intelligence may contain errors; the report is therefore decision-support material, and does not constitute professional advice or a guaranteed result. Implementing the recommendations, and the consequences of doing so, is the Client's decision.
14.2 Registration and Formation of the Contract
Using the service requires a user account. During registration, the Client provides an email address, password and company name, accepts these Terms, and reviews the Privacy Policy.
The subscription contract is formed when the Client finalizes the order, which carries a payment obligation, on the payment provider's interface, and the payment is successfully completed. The Service Provider sends an electronic confirmation of the formation of the contract and the content of the order.
The contract is formed in the English language; it does not qualify as a contract concluded in writing, and it is not filed by the Service Provider. The Client can view the details of the order at any time in its own account area after logging in.
Data-entry errors can be corrected on the payment interface before the order is finalized, using the browser's back function or by interrupting and restarting the process.
14.3 Fee, Payment, Renewal and Invoicing
The pricing in effect at any given time is available on the Campaign Detective page. The price shown there is the final amount payable; the Service Provider is exempt from value added tax under the small business exemption, so the price is not subject to VAT.
The subscription fee depends on the number of companies included in the subscription. One company means one connected pair of advertising accounts. The fee is the same for each company.
The advertised introductory price applies to the first three months of the subscription. From the fourth month, the regular monthly fee is charged. The Service Provider displays both amounts before the order is placed.
The subscription renews automatically every month, until the Client cancels it. The fee is automatically charged, through the payment provider, from the payment method provided by the Client, on each renewal date.
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The Service Provider does not see or store any card data.
The Service Provider issues an invoice for the fee paid, and sends it to the email address provided by the Client.
If a charge fails, the payment provider will attempt it again. If the fee is not received, the service associated with the subscription will be suspended until payment is resolved.
14.4 Scope and Limits of the Service
The subscription includes one analysis run per company per day. An unused daily analysis does not accumulate and cannot be carried over to another day.
The subscription applies to the number of companies selected when the order was placed. The companies' slots become fixed once the first analyses are run. The Client may replace a fixed company once every 30 days; the replacement can be initiated in the interface and is subject to confirmation. The purpose of this limit is to prevent a single subscription from being used to serve more than the specified number of mutually independent companies.
The quality and depth of the analysis depends on what data is available in the connected advertising accounts. The Service Provider has no visibility into the Client's website, inventory, profit margin, or competitors' actions, and the report states this as well.
The Service Provider aims to keep the service continuously available, but the service may be temporarily suspended due to a temporary malfunction, maintenance or restriction of the advertising platforms or the analysis engine. An analysis that fails due to a technical error is not counted as used, and the Client may restart it.
14.5 Connecting Advertising Accounts and Data Processing
The Client connects its advertising accounts to the service, at its own discretion, on Google's and Meta's own authorization interfaces. For Meta, the service requests read-only access only. The Google Ads programming interface knows only one kind of access, which would also allow changes; the service does not use this, and makes no changes in the advertising account. The Client may end this connection at any time, both in the service's interface and in Google's and Meta's own account settings.
The Client warrants that it is authorized to grant access to the data of the advertising accounts it connects, and that it has the consent of the account owner to do so.
Data processing. To the extent that the data originating from the connected advertising accounts contains personal data, the Client is the data controller with respect to that data, and the Service Provider is the data processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. The following terms apply to this, and constitute a written data processing agreement between the parties:
- Subject matter and purpose: processing the performance data of the advertising accounts for the purpose of preparing an analysis report for the Client.
- Duration: for the duration of the subscription, or until the user account is deleted.
- Nature of the data: campaign and ad performance data, search terms, conversion settings, and the identifier and name of the advertising account.
- Categories of data subjects: persons who encounter, or respond to, the Client's advertisements, to the extent that the data provided by the platform contains personal data relating to them.
- Instructions: the Service Provider processes the data solely on the Client's instructions, for the purpose of providing the service. The order and the acceptance of these Terms constitute the Client's documented instruction.
- Confidentiality: persons who access the data are bound by a confidentiality obligation.
- Security: the data is stored encrypted, using the AES-256-GCM method; transmission takes place over the TLS protocol; access is subject to authorization.
- Sub-processors: the Service Provider uses the services of Vercel Inc. (hosting) and Google LLC (the Gemini language model that prepares the analysis). These are necessary for the service to function, and the Client grants a general authorization for them with the order. The Service Provider will give prior notice of the engagement or replacement of any further processor, and the Client may object to it; in that case, the Client may terminate the subscription with immediate effect.
- Guarantee regarding the analysis engine: the Service Provider uses the paid tier of the Gemini service, under which the provider does not use the submitted data to develop its own products.
- Assistance: the Service Provider assists the Client in fulfilling data subject requests, complying with data security requirements, and handling personal data breaches. If it detects a personal data breach, the Service Provider will notify the Client without undue delay.
- Deletion: upon termination of the service, or upon deletion of the user account, the Service Provider deletes the stored access keys and analyses.
- Audit: the Service Provider makes available to the Client all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with these obligations.
The Service Provider acts as an independent data controller with respect to the Client's registration, subscription and billing data. The details of this processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
14.6 Cancellation and Termination
The Client may cancel the subscription at any time, without giving a reason, in the service's own interface. There is no notice period. Cancellation means that the fee will no longer be charged on the next renewal date, and the service will remain available until the end of the period already paid for. The Client may withdraw the cancellation at any time before the renewal date.
The Service Provider may suspend or terminate the subscription with immediate effect if the Client uses the service in a manner that violates the law or these Terms, in particular if it connects an advertising account to which it has no authorization, or resells the service to a third party. In such a case, the Service Provider will refund the fee for the unused, already-paid period.
The Client may request deletion of the user account at info@adverr.hu. Deleting the account also deletes the analyses associated with it.
14.7 Platform Terms
The service uses the official programming interface of Google's and Meta's advertising systems, solely to retrieve data. The Client acknowledges that granting and revoking access takes place under these platforms' own terms, and that a change on the platform's side may affect the availability of the service.
15. Special Provisions Relating to Consumers
This section applies only if the Client qualifies as a consumer.
15.1 Right of Withdrawal and Termination
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the consumer has the right to withdraw from, or terminate, the contract without giving a reason, within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
Campaign Detective is a digital service not supplied on a tangible medium, the performance of which begins immediately after payment. Therefore, before finalizing the order, the consumer must expressly declare that they request performance to begin immediately, and acknowledge that they will lose their right of withdrawal once performance has begun. In the absence of such a declaration, the service will not start before the 14-day period has elapsed.
If the consumer has not made such a declaration, they may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days: by an unambiguous statement sent to info@adverr.hu, or by using the model form below. In the event of withdrawal, the Service Provider will refund the fee paid within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method.
15.2 Warranty for Defects and Conformity of the Service
The Service Provider performs defectively if, at the time of performance, the service does not comply with the requirements set out in the contract or by law. In such a case, the consumer may request repair or a proportionate reduction of the fee, or, where the statutory conditions are met, may terminate the contract. The claim may be submitted at info@adverr.hu.
15.3 Complaint Handling
The consumer may submit a complaint verbally by phone at +36 30 845 0537, in writing at info@adverr.hu, or by post at 1203 Budapest, Közműhelytelep utca 26. The Service Provider will substantively respond to a written complaint within 30 days of its receipt, and will give reasons for any rejection.
15.4 Board of Conciliation and Administrative Proceedings
If the complaint is rejected, the consumer may turn to a board of conciliation. The board with jurisdiction over the Service Provider's registered office is:
- Budapest Board of Conciliation
- Address: 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99. I. emelet 111.
- Postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf.: 10.
- Phone: +36 1 488 2131
- Email: bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu
The consumer may also turn to the board of conciliation with jurisdiction over their place of residence or stay. The Service Provider is under an obligation to cooperate in the board of conciliation's proceedings.
The consumer may submit a consumer-protection complaint to the metropolitan or county government office with consumer-protection jurisdiction over their place of residence.
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025; the Service Provider therefore does not refer to it, and no complaint can be submitted there.
