1. What the service does
Leadi is an online client acquisition service. The Client enters the address of their website, or describes what they sell, to whom and in which market. From this, the service suggests target groups, collects potential client companies and their decision-makers from publicly available sources (the companies' own websites, public company data, internet search), and prepares a personalised draft email for each of them. If no decision-maker can be found by name at a company, but a general company email address appears on the company's own website, the email is addressed to the company.
The service only displays companies, names and email addresses that it has found in a public source, and it indicates the source. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the data found is complete and up to date, because it comes from changing public data outside the Service Provider's control.
The draft emails are partly produced by artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes. The Client sends the email from their own email system (for example Gmail, Outlook or another email program): the service opens the finished email with the recipient, the subject and the text, the Client decides whether to send it, and the Client may edit the email before sending it. The Service Provider does not send emails on the Client's behalf. The Service Provider accepts no responsibility for whether the recipients reply or whether the outreach leads to any business.
2. For businesses only
Leadi may only be used by businesses (companies, sole proprietors and other organisations carrying out an economic activity), within the scope of their economic activity. Consumers may not use the service. By signing up, the Client declares that they are not acting as a consumer, and therefore Section 15 of adverr's Terms of Service, which concerns consumers, does not apply to Leadi.
3. Sign-up and conclusion of the contract
The analysis and the preview of the draft emails can be viewed without signing up. A user account is required for the free credits and for sending emails. Leadi uses the same adverr account as Campaign Detective: when signing up, the Client provides an email address, a password and a company name, accepts these Terms of Use, and acknowledges the Leadi Privacy Notice.
The contract for the purchase of credits is concluded when the Client finalises the order involving a payment obligation on the payment provider's interface and the payment is successfully completed. The Service Provider sends an electronic confirmation of the purchase. The contract is concluded in the English language, does not qualify as a contract made in writing, and is not filed by the Service Provider.
4. Credits, fees and payment
Leadi works on a credit basis. €25 buys 10,000 credits, and unlocking 1 recipient's email address costs 100 credits, which is €0.25. The minimum top-up is €25, which is 10,000 credits, or 100 emails. The price is the final amount: the Service Provider is exempt from VAT under Hungarian law (subjective tax exemption), so no VAT is added to the price.
Free credits. On first use, the Client receives 500 free credits once per account (5 emails). The free credits can be used for 30 days from the date they are credited, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred.
Purchased credits. Purchased credits can be used for 12 months from the date they are credited. Expired credits are lost, and the Service Provider does not refund their value.
Use. In the preview, the recipients' email addresses and the decision-makers' surnames are not visible. The Client unlocks the full address and name with credits; the service then displays them and offers to open the email in the Client's email system. Credits are used at the time of unlocking, once per address, always from the credits that expire earliest; opening the same address again does not cost further credits. Whether the Client eventually sends the email does not affect the deduction. The current balance and the expiry date are shown in the Client's interface.
Refunds. The Service Provider does not refund the value of purchased, unused credits, unless this is required by law or the Service Provider discontinues the Leadi service. In the latter case, it refunds the value of the purchased credits that have not yet expired.
Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The Service Provider does not see or store card details. The Service Provider issues an invoice for the amount paid and sends it to the email address provided by the Client.
5. The Client's responsibility for the emails
The Client sends the email in their own name, from their own email system. The Client is responsible for the content of the email, the choice of recipients and the lawfulness of the outreach. The Client undertakes to:
- send emails only to recipients they are lawfully allowed to contact, and comply with the laws on electronic advertising and on the processing of personal data;
- state their real name and company name in the email, and not give the impression that the email comes from someone else;
- respect a recipient's request not to be contacted further, and not write to them after that;
- not send misleading or unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
Before sending the email, the Client must make sure that the outreach is lawful in the recipient's country. The Service Provider provides a tool; the Client decides on the purpose, recipient, content and sending of the outreach, and is responsible for these. The Client indemnifies the Service Provider against all claims, damages and costs arising from the Client's use of the service in breach of the law or of these Terms of Use.
The Service Provider may suspend or terminate the service with immediate effect if the Client uses it in breach of the law or of these Terms of Use, in particular if recipients complain, if the emails have unlawful content, or if the Client resells the service to a third party.
6. Data processing
Data of the registered user. The Service Provider acts as an independent controller of the Client's registration, credit and billing data. The details of the processing are set out in the Leadi Privacy Notice.
Source of the data in the results. For companies and their decision-makers, the service works exclusively from publicly available sources: the companies' own websites, public company data and company registers, trade publications and announcements, internet search, and a service that searches for publicly available company email addresses. The Service Provider stores the results (company name, the decision-maker's name, job title and company email address) as the outcome of the analysis.
The Client is the controller. When the Client uses the service to choose a recipient, unlock an email address and send an outreach email, the Client determines the purposes and means of the processing, so in this respect the Client is the controller and the Service Provider is a processor providing a tool. Using the service counts as the Client's documented instruction, and the provisions of this section constitute the data processing agreement between the parties; no separate contract is needed for this.
By using the service, the Client declares that:
- they have a valid legal basis for the outreach (for business outreach, typically legitimate interest, or the recipient's consent where the law requires it), and have carried out the necessary balancing test;
- they inform the recipient, at the latest at the time of the first contact, who processes their data, from what source and for what purpose, and how they can object;
- they fulfil the recipient's objection, erasure request and other data subject requests within 30 days, and do not write again to a recipient who has objected.
If someone does not want to appear in the results, they can request this at info@adverr.hu. The Service Provider deletes their name and email address from the service's results and does not display them in new analyses either. This does not mean that the data cannot be found in other public sources or in other services.
To operate the service, the Service Provider uses the following services: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Upstash (database), Google (the Gemini language model, which writes the draft emails and performs the search), Hunter (hunter.io, searching for publicly available company email addresses), Stripe (payment).
Retention. The Service Provider stores the analysis and the results in it (the decision-makers' names, job titles and company email addresses) for 12 months from the last time the analysis was opened, and then deletes them automatically. It stores the addresses unlocked by the Client for as long as the Client's account exists; these are also deleted when the account is deleted.
7. Termination and deleting the account
The Client can start the deletion of their account themselves on the Leadi login page, with password confirmation, or request it at info@adverr.hu. Deleting the account permanently deletes all Leadi data belonging to it: the profile, the credit balance and the credit log, and the list of unlocked addresses. The account is shared with Campaign Detective, so the deletion also deletes its data. Unused credits cease to exist when the account is deleted, and the Service Provider does not refund their value, in line with Section 4. Billing data remains with the payment provider and in the Service Provider's accounting records for the period required by accounting law. Analyses do not belong to the account, because they can also be made without signing up: they are deleted at the end of the retention period set out in Section 6.
